FAQ
Welcome to Hello Get Knotted! Whether you're new to furoshiki or building your collection, this guide covers the most common questions about our products, our mission, and how to get the most out of your furoshiki.
What does "furoshiki" stand for?
Furoshiki (風呂敷) is a traditional Japanese square cloth used to wrap, carry, or gift items. Originally used in bathhouses to hold clothing, it has evolved into a beautiful, functional, and sustainable alternative to gift wrap, packaging, and bags.
What is your shipping policy?
We are still working on this at the moment and are exploring domestic (United Kingdom) and international shipping options.
We use eco-conscious packaging wherever possible.
Where do your patterns come from?
Our designs are created inspired by traditional japanese furoshiki but with a modern twist. Each bag uses vibrant African wax print fabric sourced ethically from London. Each one is inspired by nature, storytelling, heritage prints, and joyful everyday moments. We take pride in original, sustainable-driven design.
Are you stocked anywhere yet?
Currently, Hello Get Knotted products are sold exclusively on our website. We’re working on partnering with select stockists — stay tuned or recommend your favourite local shop!
Are your furoshiki reusable?
Yes! Reusability is core to furoshiki. Our cloths can be wrapped, tied, folded, worn, or displayed — again and again. They’re a planet-friendly alternative to single-use wrapping and packaging.
How do I care for my furoshiki?
Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash
Use cold water
Air dry to maintain fabric quality
Iron on low if needed
Avoid bleach and harsh detergents
Can I return or exchange my order?
We are working on our delivery options at the moment. We will come back to this.
Do you offer custom or bulk orders?
We do! We love creating special pieces for weddings, events, and businesses. Custom designs and bulk pricing are available — reach out to discuss your ideas.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We are working on this option and will come back to you.

Small (45cm): Great for small gifts, bento boxes, or accessories
Medium (70cm): Ideal for books, bottles, or lunches
Large (90cm): Perfect for clothing, larger gifts, or as a scarf or tote
